Scholarship
The Shasta Chapter of the California Native Plant Society sponsors one $1,500 scholarship which is awarded each year to a student from Shasta College, Lassen College, or College of the Siskiyous transferring to a four‑year university or college, or a local high school student beginning a bachelor’s program on a full‑time basis (at least 12 units/term). Applicants studying biological sciences are eligible, with those studying botany given preference. The scholarship amount is payable in two installments. The second installment is paid after the start of the second term. A copy of first term grades with an average of B‑ or better (2.7 or better GPA) for that term's classes and a copy of the second term's registration receipt will be required.
